Description

We have an urgent 6 months contract for a Supply Chain Manager to work out of our client site in West Sussex.

The successful Supply Chain Manager will have previous experience of managing suppliers relating to motor claim accidents, running weekly meetings and producing audits and have excellent negotiation skills.

Key responsibilities for the Supply Chain Manager:

. Managing suppliers on a daily basis, looking at costings and reviewing SLAs and challenging where necessary.
. Mentoring members of the Claims Team in the art of supplier management.
Key Skills & experience for the Supply Chain Manager:

. Solid experience of Supply Chain Management
. Previous experience of working within the Financial Services/Insurance/Automation/Car Repair Industry with solid knowledge of the claims process.
. Excellent relationship building skills along with the confidence to challenge suppliers on the service provided.
. Mentoring skills - someone that is happy to be shadowed in this role and impart their knowledge
