Senior System Admin (HItachi 99xx SEries and Oracle FS-1 storage)
We have a very exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Netherlands. It is a very urgent requirement.
Below are the skill set required for the position.
Must have skills Requirement:
Hands on experience on Hitachi 99xx Series & Oracle FS-1 storage
Should be able to do Oracle FS1 array cabling, installation & configuration, ILOM remote console port configuration etc.
Should be able to design Scalable & Highly Available FS1 Configurations
Hands on experience on Oracle MaxRep Replication Engine
Expertise in Provisioning & Architecting Oracle Flash Storage Systems, Setup Auto-tiering and Storage Domains
Configure Oracle FS Path Manager on Solaris hosts
Raise & help resolve Oracle Auto Service Requests
Migrate data from Hitachi to Oracle FS1 array
Preference for data/storage migration experience & Solaris (SPARC) knowledge
General Skills Requirement:
- Excellent knowledge of various storage infrastructure of SAN, NAS, etc (EMC, Netapps, HP, IBM, DELL, Hitachi, Oracle)
- This role is to work closely with Data Center migration team and have done data centre migration projects
- Design and implement storage solutions. Have Created Technical Design, Implementation Schedules and associated test plans
- Should be strong in Installation & Configuration of Storage device remotely
- Experience with backup technologies
- Should have good technical and analytical skills
- Prepare report
- Good interpersonal skills
- Close interaction with local and global technical infrastructure teams
- Experience with systems administration: upgrades, patching and configuration management, performance management, troubleshooting, analysis and capacity planning
