Description
Web Designer required for large organisation based in Belfast.
The key accountabilities for this role are:
- Sharing current design trends
- Reviewing requirements and design of PTRM UI interface currently being built
- Reviewing other existing customer facing UIs
- Sharing knowledge on the design of other similar Web interfaces (if possible within the Exchange/Finance Business)
- Understanding our web and marketing charts
- Providing improvements recommendation and document action plan for PTRM derivatives and other web Apps
- Designing the UI for PTRM Cash soon to be started - drawing up detailed website specifications, designing sample page layout, designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it's in line with company branding policy and the requirements, etc.
- Coaching the dev team in order to help them implementing the most appropriate design.
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Advanced experience in designing Web user interface in the Finance industry
- Expert knowledge of HTML5 and JQ Widget to ensure he/she can provide coaching to the dev team in terms of design and implementation
- Excellent communication skills & team work
- Experience under an Agile Framework
- Demonstrable ability to be confident, pragmatic and tenacious and work as a self-starter requiring limited supervision
