Project Manager - Application Delivery, Maximo, NiSoft Eclipse, Navision, Sage, Tas

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background Application Delivery for a 6 month initial contract. In this role you will ensure that the project produces the required business functionality across all project work packages within the specified time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience in IT ideally within the Utilities industry, combined with an appropriate degree in IT, Computing, Computer Science or equivalent.

The scope of the work is to manage the applications delivery on a Greenfield implementation project and the type applications will include: -

Computerised Asset & Work Management Application
Safety Management system
Financial Management to include - General Ledger; Procurement & Payroll
On-Line Fuel Management system
Experience in the implementation of the following applications is very desirable:

Maximo
NiSoft Eclipse
Navision/Sage/Tas

The role will require a significant element of travel within Europe so candidates must be willing to work away from home and hold a valid EU passport.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition and maintaining of project plans
  • Manage the application build in line with the requirements baseline and associated design
  • Support Capability Owners with Tender Preparation and procurement process
  • Support PM & Capability Owners with contract management of Business Applications
  • Support the Change Management process by providing Impact Statements resulting from any
  • changes to the requirements baseline
  • Ensure that traceability of requirements are available throughout all phases of the development life cycle and maintained through the use of traceability Matrix
  • Take part in baseline reviews to ensure requirements have been properly understood and addressed and are reflected in the baseline under review
  • Support the project manager and team leaders during the design and delivery process in managing changes, additions and deletions to the project requirements baseline

Skills & Experience

  • Working experience of PRINCE2
  • Excellent communications and facilitation skills.
  • Highly organised planning and time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working on Projects to deliver multiple Business Applications
  • Experience in methodologies such as Agile and waterfall
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of IT systems including LAN/WAN technologies, database, Front End processors and telecoms
  • Experience in IT System architectures
  • Experience of delivering applications within complex projects
  • Proficient in the suite of MS Applications, MS SharePoint, MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word

The initial contract on offer will be for 6 months with a further 6 month extension likely to follow. Our client is offering a daily rate of Euros plus expenses. Further information is available upon request.
