Senior Claims Adjuster - Motor claims/Liabilities.
Liabilities, Claims, 3rd party liaisons, negotiation.
This is a fantastic chance to join a world renowned Insurance business based in Chesterfield on a daily rate contract basis.
The primary purpose of the job is to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle the most complex of the companies Express Claims cases by collecting and analysing data according to policy application and/or contract provisions.
Primary responsibilities include:
.Claims handling and settlement techniques that achieve cost effective and timely closure
results by obtaining, reviewing and analysing documentation, policy provisions and other
records.
.Contact with other parties (ie employer, claimants, third parties such as medical
providers, auto repair centers, etc.) as deemed necessary. Utilizes diary system to pro-
actively resolve outstanding issues and to ensure timely processing and closure of claim.
.Providing timely service throughout the life of the claim by meeting all service level
agreements, initiating timely contact to all appropriate parties, and responding to
incoming inquires according to company policy and procedures.
.Maintaining accurate system data and documentation by collecting, recording, analysing,
and summarizing information.
.Identify subrogation opportunities and fraud potential and make appropriate
referrals.
.Provide mentorship to less tenured adjusters.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise required.
3-5 years of comprehensive experience and proven proficiency with Commercial motor claims (own damage, third party property, MOJ claims, fraud indicators etc.)
Excellent communication and empathy skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment.
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
Acquiring adjuster licenses or related may be required, depending upon country/jurisdictional requirements.
