Are you an experienced Web Developer?Do you have a keen interest in the gaming industry?
My client is a prestigious games studios based in Leicestershire. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Front End Web Developer on an initial 6 month contract. You will need to be conformable working with different groups of people and be confident in public situations.
Pay rates are between £300-£350 per day. This is an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend. An immediate start is available!
You will be involved in/responsible for:
- Delivery of high fidelity web based solutions to support new game releases.
- Building creative solutions to technical problems encountered.
- Continuously working to minimise technical debt and maintenance hazards.
Champion quality in the development process and taking an active role in the improvement of engineering.
- Being part of the culture. Being inquisitive, trying things out, breaking stuff, helping people be even better, thinking like you own the place.
You will need to know (some or all of the following):
- CSS
- Modern Web Development - e.g. Node, Angular, Ruby
- Automated Build Systems - e.g. Team City
- Automated Deployment Systems - e.g Octopus Deploy
- Automated Testing - e.g. Jasmine
- Continuous Delivery
The work involves predominately Node.JS and Javascript/CSS so experience in this is highly beneficial.
