Proteus Europe is searching for a skilled C#, ASP.Net developer to join one of our clients in the Life Sciences industry.Our Client :-
Our client is a British company who develops products and systems for the Life Sciences sector in the US and also Europe. They operate a world leading system for barcode reading for large pharmaceutical companies and their research into new health giving products. Via our clients technology, their clients are able to track each product / batch at every stage of its development right through to the end distribution to end-users in the healthcare industry.
Your New role :-
You will be working within a team of developers and testers and involved in the full project life cycle of both our own family of software and configured customer specific applications. You will be responsible for the design and development of solutions of varying scales.
You will ideally have relevant commercial experience of C# and ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript/HTML/CSS development plus a working knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle.
Also a key skill for this position is the ability to address a set of business requirements with effective technical solutions and to accurately estimate the effort required to deliver the solution. You will also need to have a proven track record in designing, building and maintaining enterprise level applications.
Experience of working within the GAMP V-Model would be a distinct advantage
MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and developing customer ready solutions to meet specified requirements
Conform to the internal quality procedures
Design, modelling, general programming and investigation tasks for the development, modification and maintenance of all software products
Write documentation in support of developed products
Unit testing of software products
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
Required software development skills:
- C#
- Microsoft ASP.Net MVC
- Any Rich Internet Application technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML 5, CSS, TypeScript
- SQL Server
- Oracle 10g, 11g
- TFS or other source control package
- Proven track record in designing, building and maintaining enterprise level applications
- Documentation Skills:Ability to write clearly, concisely, readably and with attention to detail and quality (fit for purpose)
- Communication skills:Communicate effectively with manager, colleagues and customers
- Time management skills:Able to accurately timescale work
Desirable Skills :-
Hibernate or NHibernate experience
Experience of working within the GAMP V-Model
