Description
We are looking for a Database Developer with a strong SQL Server development background. Understanding of full SQL Server suite is essential.6 Month Contract:
Retail and Blue chip company experience is preferred.
Your skills and experience will include:
- SQL Server background - (3-5 Year Experience)
- Essential (ideally worked on SQL 2014) to have strong SQL Server skills
- Expert understanding of T-SQL, SQL server structures/objects
- SSIS: Strong understanding of SSIS concepts and flows. (SQL 2012 or upwards)
- SSAS: Good to have understanding of SSAS
- SSRS: Good understanding of SSRS
- Data Modelling understanding of data warehousing models (inmon and Kimball)
- SQL Server Azure, Previous experience in cloud environment is a definite plus.
- Performance Tuning experience is definite advantage
- Secure and Efficient coding practices
- Good analytical skills
- A good understanding of financial markets will be beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge C# will be added advantage
- Ability to work in the UK is essential
