Description
IT Software / Security Engineer wanted for improving security assurance checks within an international bank in Zurich.Your tasks:
- Analysing complexity and feasibility of new or changed requirements
- Advising on existing and planned systems, standards and guidelines (requirement engineering)
- Planning and evaluating systems, creating technical specifications, testing unit and basic integration according to specified requirements
- Defining platform requirement sizing, network and controlling components and system software
- Providing level 3 support (escalation point for Level 2 in case of incidents) and acting as a partner for business analysts regarding requirements specification
- Maintaining documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.
Your experience/skills:
- Long-term experience in operating system/ middleware hardening and security audits
- Ability to implement audit checks based on center for internet security benchmarks
- Know-how of POSIX permissions model: RBAC, SUID/SGID, sticky bits, octal/ symbolic notation etc.
- Ability to set up a working lab environment required for testing of checks/ standards
- Familiarity with SELinux, netstat, grep, process table etc.
- Good understanding of:
- configuration parameters in Apache, Tomcat and importantly WebSphere is a must, IIS would be a plus
- administrative security settings in AIX, Solaris, RHEL or others such as Windows and ESXi
- common infrastructure, including Active Directory, GPO and Kerberos
- user database roles, permissions-model, security settings in Oracle/Sybase/MS-SQL
