Description
Defence client are in the market for an experienced SC Cleared RF Design Engineer with Analogue Microwave/Mirco Circuitry experienced to work on GPS systems.
The client are expanding their highly successful GPS product portfolio and require an RF Design Engineer to support the design, analysis and initial production for electronics product design.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in RF product design for challenging environments and design for high volume techniques.
Required Skills:
In depth experience in design and layout of RF and analogue micro circuitry and micro integration into products for harsh environments and hostile EM conditions
Design experience in Receiver technologies in the 1-2 GHz band with an emphasis on GPS signal
Design experience of down conversion techniques and processing methods
Good knowledge of product design and problem solving within a design for manufacture environment.
Experience in full system design life cycle and ability to take an overall systems view
Good team player who is willing to take ownership of problems and actively engages in IPT and group activities.
