Description
Finance Analyst - Contract - 12 months - Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Technology costs: management and co-ordination of budget
o Project accounting management (project set up, timecard reviews, etc.)
o Cost reviews with team leads
o Budget and actual reporting
o Support of NPI projects, incl capitalization & IFRS/STAT implementation
o R&D tax credit claims
o NPI (New Product Introduction) sales tracking
- Commercial Reporting:
o Weekly orders, sales & backlog reporting
o Variance analysis between reporting systems for accuracy in financials
o Pipeline analysis for upcoming deals
- Support key closing responsibilities (eg extracting transactional reports, variance analysis, preparation of MJEs (Manual Journal Entries)
- Support past dues queries & investigations (eg pulling invoices, purchase orders, confirming payments)
- Additional scope to support FP&A manager with commercial analysis and support integration activities for new reporting structures
- Invest NI reporting (quarterly requirement of government grant conditions)
- Adhoc projects & requests (eg SFDC categorization, IT testing & initiatives)
You must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Experienced in Microsoft Outlook & Powerpoint; Advanced Microsoft Excel, eg vlookups, if statements, pivot tables)
