A Renewable Energy client is looking for an Onshore Cable Site Supervisor to work on their offshore wind farm project, based in the UK. Our client is looking for an individual who will be able to start this approx. 12.5 months role from 15th March 2016, up until approx. 31st March 2017, with the possibility of further extensionOur client is looking for a supervisor for the onshore cable installation works (route and substation). The installation takes place according to design, to ensure contractors and subcontractors deliver to quality and perform in safely manner. The individual will report to the onshore cable installation manager and cable supply manager
Qualifications:
- Previous onshore Cable Supervision experience is a perquisite
- BSc Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of practical as well as theoretical experience within HV export cables, components or installation onshore
- Possesses the skills of a good project engineer (technically skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision making and planning and preferably experience with the clients IT tools/procedures
