Wind farm Construction Manager - Scotland (6 month contract work)
Highly commanding opportunity has accord to join an innovative high tech wind turbine manufacturing company. You will be working with an innovative company who designs, develops and project manages wind turbines around the globe.
Ideally you should have windfarm experience. Be able to work on your own initiative or part of a team with good reporting skills and IT skills.
- You will need to have experience with working on access roads & crane pads, general excavation and temporary road construction in remote sites experience
- Provide continuous technical support on wind farm construction sites
- Ground Investigation experience ie reading/interpolate borehole & soil investigation reports
- Concrete piling experience supervising works on site
- Steel reinforced foundation experience, reading/interpolate drawings/specifications
- Concrete shuttering/formwork, pouring & compaction experience
Qualifications:
- SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme Certified for 5 years
- CSCS Card - Construction Skills Certification Scheme
- IEng or CEng - Incorporated Engineer/Chartered Engineer Certified through a relevant Civil/Construction Institute
- Unrestricted ability to work at heights
- CDM Regulations 2015 - Construction (Design and Management)
- Full UK driving license
Must have experience as Principal Contractor or Contractor, plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the entire construction phase, Site Rules & Site Security, Construction Phase Plan & Emergency Plan, Welfare Facilities
