Oracle E-business Technical Consultant - Oracle Implementation Consultant - R12 - ODI - UPK - Financials Implementation - Oracle Upgrade
My client has an Urgent contract for an experienced Oracle E-business Technical Consultant/Oracle Financials implementation Consultant for a 12 month contract based in Amsterdam. The successful Oracle E-business technical Consultant/Implementation consultant will require a demonstrable background of Oracle Financials/E-business upgrades and migrations as the client is in the process of upgrading their financial & purchasing modules from V 11 - V 12.2. There is further scope to implement ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) also. The successful Oracle E-business Consultant will be working closely with Senior Project managers & stakeholders and an outsourcing partner (on and offshore) to complete the technical upgrade.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*Demonstrable and thorough knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite R.12, ODI and UPK .
*A background of working with a outsourcing partners on major upgrade projects
*A hands-on mentality to deliver within tight deadlines with excellent team management & motivation skills
*A proven track record in IT Consultancy/Project Management or be experienced in holding a similar role as described above.
*Experience in developing, implementing and managing the application of project management procedures - keeping project members up to date with progress; creating, holding and maintaining project plans; 'walking the job' etc
*A background in Accounting would be advantageous given the close links with finance teams
*Must have strong personal and team building skills to lead and influence others - experience in managing contributions from disparate teams across the business
*Experience with Prince II or equivalent project management methodology
*Solid experience as Technical Consultant/Project Manager - ability to effectively manage the efficient use of resource, and can apply a disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
*Experienced with the MS Office toolset, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
*Fluent in English, verbal and written Dutch languages skills are an advantage also
This is a VERY URGENT contract opportunity with tight time lines, candidates must be able to start on/around 22nd Feb. There is an opportunity for a longer term contract for the right person. The project has already started so It is imperative that the candidate will be able to pick this project up quickly!
