Role Description:

We are looking for a Research and Marketing Assistant to support the logistics, operations and community of Young Professional Women Australia, an organisation that educates, inspires and empowers Young Female Leaders of Australia. The organisation delivers training and networking opportunities to professional women between the ages of 20-40 and is poised for growth in 2016.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build their skills in a broad range of areas including digital marketing / web based initiatives, stakeholder management and customer relationship management. The role provides a broad level of flexibility with the opportunity to develop personally and professionally as a leader within the YPWA Community.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to self-manage - set goals & seek and obtain feedback to achieve quality, timely results
  • Strong organisational, analytical & interpersonal skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of people - business partners, clients, suppliers (from senior executives to customers)
  • Attention to detail across all areas including presentation of materials and documents for clients and event/ program management.
  • Experience with online communications platforms (aweber etc) and open sourced web platforms (such as wordpress, wix etc.)

Some duties will include :

  • Assisting in the end-to end project management of YPWA's events, programs and conferences, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
  • Liaise with venues, speakers, suppliers and business partners, and manage attendees communication
  • Support the client care program of existing clients, including check in calls to see how program participants are navigating the program
  • Technology setup of all on and offline programs including auto responder, calendar requests, and member site portal management
  • Manage, co-ordinate and update brand presence across social media platforms including LinkedIn, FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter
  • Draft case study documents, research reports with guidance and distribute as part of our thought leadership platform.
