Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Architect to join and lead our web development team. This position requires extensive & deep knowledge on ecommerce system and provides architectural leadership to our development team and ensure best practices are created and followed. The Systems Architect will work closely with the management, marketing, UX and design teams to create optimal solutions that satisfy the high-level business & users goals.

What you will do daily with our team...

  • Work closely with several teams to plan and design our technology system (Magento and different PHP frameworks), platform, or program.
  • Design, define, and develop system architecture, features, and package integration from proposal to product.
  • Document features, modules, requirements, and the risks of each project.
  • Monitor key project metrics and perform quality control initiatives and reviews.
  • Optimize performance and stability on our ecommerce systems.
  • Manage team of developers and establish standard operating procedures to help control the risks associated with the projects.
  • Ensure the team to follow the best web development practices.


What you must have...

  • BA in computer science, engineering or a related field, and minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in systems architect.
  • Extensive experience on ecommerce systems, preferably in Magento.
  • Deep understanding on different PHP frameworks, performance & stability optimization and best coding practices.
  • Experience to lead and manage team. Able to lead the team through the challenging projects within tight deadline.
  • Extremely organized and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Superb problem solving skill.
  • Enjoy working at super fast-faced environment.

Pluses...

  • Experience on Magento, Symfony, MVC and EAV database structure.
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies, including the Agile process.
  • Experience in project management.
