Description

Objective:
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will perform Mig, Stick and Orbital Welding as well as Welding in all 6 positions (6G Tig welding) for pressure part products including dissimilar welds and panels.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform butt welding (gas tungsten arc pressure welding) per identified weld procedures with a less than 1% reject rate.
  • Read and understand welding procedures (filler metal type, pre-heat, interpass and travel speed).
  • Utilize engineering drawings and blueprints from single details to assemblies. Draw conclusive direction from very detailed views.
  • Locate and mark bend points on tube based on bend sheets.
SKILLS:

Qualifications:
  • High school or trade school diploma required
  • Minimum of five years of related welding experience.
  • Proven ability to pass 6G Tig welding test.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Proven ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Applicants must have the authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
