Description
Day-to-day duties- Various projects i.e. Exchange/O365 migration using PowerShell scripting
- Microsoft Server 3.51, 4.0, 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2012
- Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013
- Built several 2008 and 2012 servers on VMWare as required by the business
- Ensure all backups of critical data are taking place
- Deploy new images for hardware migration of desktops and laptops
Certifications/Qualifications:
- MCSA 2000 : Microsoft certified systems administrator.
- MCSE 2000 : Microsoft certified systems engineer.
- MCSE 2003 : Upgrade exam.
- MCP 2012 : - Installing and configuring Windows 2012 server
- MCP 2012 : - Administering Windows 2012 server.
- MCP 2012 : - Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 core solutions
This is an excellent opportunity for an out-and-out contractor who is looking for relevant experience with new technologies to add value to your CV. From speaking with contractors on-site I know that there is a high chance of extension and plenty of opportunities to work on multiple projects.
