Oracle DBA Consultant
I'm seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Consultant to start ASAP. The Oracle DBA Consultant should be fluent in Dutch including reading and writing. This is a 6-12 month contract.
The Oracle DBA Consultant will be responsible for:
- Setting up the Oracle database infrastructure
- Drafting, secure and monitor compliance with standards regarding Oracle database management which is delivered on Exadata and
- Commodity hardware platform (this offers a good basis to further develop into DBMA).
- Maintaining and Life Cycle Management of the Oracle database infrastructure
- Write and keep up to date on our management documentation.
The Oracle DBA Consultant will ideally have the following:
- Bachelor degree; or think an MBO HBO and work with proven ability and intent to complete a bachelor degree in the short term;
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Oracle DBA in a complex management environment;
- Experience with process-oriented work according to ITIL principles within an (internal) customer environment;
- Thorough knowledge of Oracle Database 11g, 12c, RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Backup & Recovery, and Performance and Tuning;
- A good command of both Dutch and English. "
- Knowledge of Enterprise Manager 11g, Enterprise Manager 12c, Linux, Grid Infrastructure, Weblogic, OID, Fusion Middleware concepts, Exadata, various (Scripting) languages: bash, ksh, Perl, Java, and process-oriented work: Agile, Kanban.
