Solution Architect - Procure to Pay/ERP/Banking system Integration
My client is implementing a centralised, in house banking system and is looking for a Solution Architect to work on the integration and architecture of the procure to pay function.
The programme will deliver an end to end procurement to pay experience.
Specifically within the IT implementation model, this role will manage overall application design, delivery, test, data, infrastructure, integration with local systems, deployment and transition to Support and Operations.
Key activities will include:
*Managing end to end coordination of the support activities for implementation (from analyse to deployment) of the central solution and work closely with local markets to synchronise with the overall plan the local systems changes required to integrate with the central solution.
*Coordinate IT design activities of each of the local operating subsidiaries to ensure implementation of a consistent solution/architecture which facilitates further shared service penetration
*Oversee key vendors and internal delivery teams in the design and delivery or required solutions.
*Partnering with Systems Integrators and local IT teams to ensure efficient design of technologies implemented at large scale
*Managing Solution Scope & Design and Long term application roadmap
*Providing sourcing recommendations for software components and systems integration work
*Advising Programme Lead and central project team on matters relating to IT systems and design
*End to end solution design and technical architecture. Act as the technical lead and authority throughout all project life cycle stages; from assessment, design, build, test to production.
*Represent finance systems delivery team towards Group Functions, local markets, vendors and System Integrators
*Deliver IT impact assessments containing solution impact overview presentation and cost and effort impact, focusing on solutions that bring clear business value.
*Deliver (Senior Executive) slide packs addressing various IT topics facilitating fact-based decision making process.
*Define, create, communicate and maintain taxonomies, repositories, workflows, and IT governance processes that reflect industry best practices.
*Analyse structure of landscape and manage required changes through.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
*Expertise and experience with system integration covering all key aspects of IT (Application, Data, Test, Infrastructure, Deployment, Operations) across procure to pay services/systems.
*Proven ability to implement large scale, complex system solutions for multi-functional, multi-national organizations
*Ability to manage an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines
*Strong personality not afraid to get hands dirty and challenge existing decisions.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
*Degree or equivalent in a computer science or a scientific/technical discipline
*Experience and expertise in delivering projects with integration of ERP and procure to pay systems.
*5+ years' experience in delivering Projects in an international environment
