Description
We are looking Senior Web/UI Developer for a customer specialising in the development of high end solutions within the mobile/telco space here in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Developing with GUI technologies across multiple projects
- Produce functional and design specifications and test plans in the course of implementing solutions
- Reviewing of Design Specifications and Code of team members
- Take a leadership role on a module within development projects
- To evaluate new technologies with a view to incorporating into our toolkit.
Experience:
- 4-6 years commercial Software development
- 3 years hands-on Java EE 7/8 with spring development experience
- UI design using primarily HTML, CSS, JSON and JavaScript
- Experience with JQuery, AngularJS 1.x or similar JavaScript libraries
- SOA solutions involving REST, Web services etc
- Experience in manipulating and authenticating XML, JAXB, XSLT, and XSD
- Database interaction with capability to analyze and enhance complex queries using ANSI SQL
- Hands-on experience in using Hibernate 4.x
- A solid grounding in Test related technologies and automation, such as JUnit/Testing/Easymock/Selenium Webdriver with an understanding of best practices
- Ability to design and implement a complex module with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan, schedule and monitor own work with little oversight
