Global Technology and Communications company are seeking a Senior Consultant with professional services experience.
This position is an individual contributor role within the Professional Services organization focused on the leadership, execution and delivery of advisory services.
We are currently looking for senior Enterprise Architects with experience of leading the delivery of outstanding client outcomes through their expertise in one or more of the following fields:
Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Professional Services engagement execution and delivery working as part of a broader services and customer team.
- Ability to apply advisory methodologies in order to prepare quality, robust and useable deliverable documentation and drive effective workshops and presentations.
- Ability to liaise with business stakeholders and map business issues into effective advisory outcomes
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams and functions in order to get results
- Accountable for Professional Services engagement success, customer satisfaction and profitability
- Drive close collaboration, consistency and synergy with the wider services organization and our partners in Sales and Delivery
- Provide executive level customer engagement as required
- Enterprise IT Architectures: setting strategy and creating integrated architectures for application, data and infrastructure domains that enable large business change programmes
- Transformation planning: building aligned business and technology roadmaps that support the planning and confident execution of organisation-wide transformation initiatives
- Target Operating Models: including business capability modelling, process redesign and building effective business/architecture governance methodologies
Experience:
- Experience working in technology advisory firms hence a deep understanding of consulting methodologies
- Educational Background: Undergraduate degree in a technology or business field required.
- Requires 2-6 years professional work experience in consulting or leadership position in related environment
- A track record of responsibility for managing project and/or functional teams is required.
- Domain knowledge in Federal Government and Defence is highly desirable
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Visio desirable
