At a Glance: experience with setup and support of application platforms in a service environment using Linux, TCServer, Apache, Oracle, Postgres, VMware; English fluent, German/French is a plus; ITIL and documentation experience; Assignment 6-9 month+; start date ASAP in Luxembourg.
Job description
We are looking for a "Cloud Systems Engineer/DevOps" to start ASAP a 6-9 months contract (initial) in Luxembourg. Our client is an international company (EN-speaking environment). world-famous and a great reference.
Tasks:
- Setup of Systems based on cloud software (Hardware, Network, Security, Virtualization, Backup, )
- Setup of the software platform (Linux, Windows, Java, Databases, Application Server, )
- Setup of the deployment, monitoring and logging infrastructure (Insight, Hyperic)
- Parameterization, test and tuning of the systems
- Documentation of the Systems
- On-Call support - Second Level on-call support to assist the client teams on application or system issues outside office hours.
