Description
E. Viddal & Associates, dba Libercus, is seeking a full-time software implementation specialist to join its Professional Services department.
Libercus is an innovative cloud-based, browser-based content management system that allows media companies to publish on multiple platforms. The company is based out of Tampa, but the position can be fulfilled remotely in the continental United States.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation blended with implementation/training/customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
Showing proficiency in the Libercus content management system for print, web and other channels from the both the user and the system administrator sides, the implementation specialist will provide customer-appropriate services, solutions and training for new and ongoing Libercus users.
>Work closely with customers, the Libercus team and third-party resources in successfully setting up and and implementing contracted Libercus services.Thoroughly understand the customer’s needs to provide the most appropriate initial and future solutions.Respond to customer needs in a timely fashion and deliver work on time.Communicate effectively with customers, the Libercus team and third-party resources through the designated channels for each.Travel on-site to customers for the implementation process and user training.Travel to company meetings/workshops quarterly or as needed.
Required Skills:
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, XMLProficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQueryGood understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAXBasic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize or perform small adjustments on an imageAbility to solve problems, think analytically and pay attention to detailAptitude and experience in keeping up with emerging technologies and evolving product featuresAptitude and experience in professional client relationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable leading user training sessions, both online and in person (typically 5 to 15 users)Ability to work independently — accountable for own actions and acting with both urgency and integrityAbility to troubleshoot and think creatively as well as technicallyFamiliarity with InDesign, Quark or similar page layout experience a plus, but not requiredNewspaper / Newsroom / Magazine production experience a plus, but not required
