UI & UX-Focused Designer

Description

zzenga is a new, small digital marketing consultancy with high standards. We’re taking on a couple of interesting projects in the events venue and tourism industries. I’m looking for a best-in-class designer, content creator, marketer, and developer to help build, deliver and manage two online properties as a team. We need to get started ASAP, so looking forward to seeing your portfolio, and setting up a call to get started.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in area of expertise

Minimum 2 years experience in design

Self-motivated, self-driven, independent worker who meets deadlines

Thrives in a remote team setup, agile work style

Able to collaborate using: Asana, Slack, Google Docs & Sheets, InVision, and other online services

OVERVIEW
This position is for a “designer who gets it”. Someone who lives and breathes current design trends, and has a deep understanding of online marketing, the user journey, and how UI elements play a crucial part in it (CTAs, landing pages, buttons, illustrations, menus, logos, etc).

You should be able to understand the market for each project we work on, then create a design and experience which has the best chance of resonating with the users - welcoming, educating, and guiding them through clearly-defined conversion paths.

You should be proactive, willing to go the extra mile to get it right, and work closely with marketing and content roles to deliver a flawless, polished user experience. I’d like us all to have a sense of ownership over the work we deliver, and have some fun in the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Entire website design and user experience

Marketing collateral design (brochures, sales sheets, etc)

Brand identification design (logo, letterheads, business cards, etc)

Illustrations for various media (email campaigns, social media, etc)

Ad creative design (online ad units with clear CTAs)

Landing page design

App design (iOS & Material Design experience beneficial)

Design-developer hand off to ensure accurate PSD-to-code process
