Your New role :-
You will be working within the dedicated EDI team for our client and will be part of the process to help internal teams move data / communications systems to new platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- develop scripts for the EDI process, check and amend as required.
- Analyse and assess systems in readiness for configuration
Due to the dynamic nature of the work and the importance of the systems / business divisions that you will be supporting, this role will have a shift rota.
Times of shifts (Subject to change at any time)
7am - 15:30
10:30am - 19:00
8:30am - 17:00
(50% of the time they will either be on either an early or late shift.)
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- EDI development
- Experience with at least one EDI Solution e.g. Reims, Seeburger, Linux, Java Script
- Fluent English, spoken and written
Desirable Skills :-
- C
- Perl
- Bizmanager
- Any experience of Red Hat Enterprise
- Any experience of Unix shell scripts
