Managed Service HR Consultant

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to join their project in China.

Position Title: Managed Service HR Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: February 2016
Duration: 6 or 12 months
Location: Shenzhen

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR solutions in the Managed Service projects during Bidding and Implementation phase.
- Execute Due Diligence on HR for MS deals:
-- Prepare and write up the proposals for answering the tenders/provide tender analysis.
-- Provide thorough analysis of compensation & benefit as well as provide and advice a complete C&B plan.
-- Develop employee cost structure for the Managed Service projects.
-- Coordinate onsite visits and interview executives if needed.
-- Provide synergies plan on transition into the vendor, subcontractor or headcount agencies.
- Develop HR integration strategies for MS deals with the below criteria:
-- Provide road-map on HR integration plan especially on the timeline and milestones which meet the overall business requirement.
-- Design HR structure and identify HR staffing.
-- Negotiate with work councils/Union and develop agreements with them.
-- Develop and prioritize HR core processes.
-- Provide harmonization plan on integration and culture fit into the vendor, and monitor the integration success.
- Act as a mentor and coach to selected MS HR staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS pre-sales deal.
- Compile project experiences and successful cases, conduct in-house or remote training sessions, and facilitate global knowledge transfer.

Qualifications/Skills required:
- University degree or above, MBA preferred.
- Min. 10 years of working experience in telecommunication (preferred within an Operator) with a proven track record of success in HR (international organization experience is highly preferred).
- Energetic and devoted; be able to travel and work overseas on long term basis.
- Possess good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. Must be a team player and have good coordination and organizing skills.
- Fluent in English language (both written and oral). Another major European language is preferred like French, Spanish or German.
- Willing to work in Africa/Latin America or European countries for longer period.
- Knowledge of the following theory, principles, practices and/or content:
-- Employee benefits such as pensions, insurance, paid leave, awards and bonuses, pay for time not worked, etc.
-- principles, theories, and practices of personnel/human resource management;
-- principles, theories, and techniques of job classification and/or job analysis;
-- applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures;
-- company and/or organizational program(s);
-- principles, theories, and practices of recruitment and selection.
