Infrastructure Application Engineer
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Note: Need good Java candidate with below skills.
Primary responsibilities
You will integrate, design and enhance applications, work with tools and services related to the global voice infrastructure, including web applications, dashboards, reports and batch processes using SQL and LDAP databases as Back End, operating in a mainly UNIX server environment.
- Gather technical requirements and translate them into hardware and software capabilities
- Work with other teams to gather possible solutions and select the most appropriate one for the requirements
- Implement solutions according to the requirements
- Communicate technical architecture direction and coordinate technical proof of concept analyses
- Document the completed project and performs handover to Operations
- Assists in solving technical and performance problems within the technical infrastructure
Qualifications
Skills Required
- Experience with IT infrastructure and software integration
- Ability to work in Linux/UNIX environment, use command line tools and the GNU toolchain
- Working knowledge of C++ or Java and experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ExtJS, jQuery, Ajax, CGI)
- Working knowledge of Scripting (Perl or Shell preferred)
- Working database knowledge (Sybase, MSSQL preferred)
- Experience with LDAP
- Experience with biometrics
Skills Desired
- Multi-threaded programming
- Experience with Voice Over IP and computer telephony (SIP, H.323, Asterisk)
- Cisco Voice knowledge
- Experience with biometrics
