** SQL DBA- Wiltshire- £50k**Computer Futures are currently working very closely with a Dynamic, market leading client in Wiltshire that are looking to take on an Mid to Senior Level DBA within their team.
This fantastic opportunity will be part home working and be providing a highly professional support, project and consultancy services for up to 100 internal and external clients.
The successful candidate will be working with cross-functional technical project teams, assist solution and technical architects to design scalable, performant and secure SQL Server installations. Also Working with application support teams and vendors, health check SQL Server environments and performance tuning/optimisation. Resposbile for Installing / configuring SQL Server on single servers and clusters on physical and virtual (VMWare) environments. Input into the design and specification process to ensure best practice and standardisation of SQL builds.
Key skills:
- Installation and Configuration of SQL Server versions
- N-tier architecture experience
- MS SQL Server Certification
- Experience of SQL Always On would be highly desirable
- Positive, Hard Working, Strategic
