Description

Regulatory Reporting is part of the Finance Division and has primary responsibility for regulatory reporting under the Basel 3/CRD IV framework (COREP, FINREP, FSA IRR reporting etc.) and regulatory external market disclosures (including Pillar 3, Capital and RWA pages in the Results Announcement and Annual Report).

The Regulatory Accountant, Pillar 3, is responsible for leading on our external market disclosures and managing the end to end process from planning and managing key stakeholders, to supporting senior management review and maintaining strong controls over the documents.

  • Pillar 3 planning process - outlining working day timetable, managing stakeholders, agreeing deadlines
  • Stakeholder management - working closely with key stakeholders and multiple levels of seniority and across different functions in the bank
  • Control - ensuring strong controls are operated and the integrity over the information in the documents is maintained and the different documents are always aligned
  • Compliance - ensuring compliance with the CRR, EDTF requirements, industry best practice, PRA bespoke requirements etc.
  • Input - generating input for Finance owned qualitative and quantitative information
  • Reconciliation - to other regulatory reporting
  • Presentation - ensuring best practice presentation and a professional document for external publication

Candidates should:

  • Be a Qualified Accountant with experience in financial services especially in regulatory reporting, particularly external market disclosures including Pillar 3
  • Have experience of working under pressure to produce high quality reporting in a highly controlled environment
  • Have experience of financial and management reporting within banking.
  • Have detailed knowledge and experience of Basel III/CRD IV.
  • Have detailed knowledge and application of Microsoft desktop packages including Excel and Access.

(Preferred) Knowledge of Hyperion (IFRS) and Moody's (Fermat) systems or similar Risk Finance systems and Clarity FSR
