COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA RELATIONS EXECUTIVE

BASED IN ST PAULS, LONDON

6 MONTH CONTRACT

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a Communications and Media Relations Executive to work as part of the Marketing and Communications division in the offices based in St Pauls, London.

We are seeking a Communications and Media Relations Executive to provide external and internal communications support for Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Corporate and Investment Banking business in the EMEA region.

This is a challenging role with high visibility. It will require working closely with a wide range of journalists, influencing high-profile senior Executives and management critical communication programs ideally for Banking and Markets business.

Key skills for a Communications and Media Relations Executive:

  • Solid experience of dealing with a wide range of different Media from national to trade press
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience of working in the business and financial communications sector
  • Aptitude to work in a high energy, high expectation, team-orientated global culture

Responsibilities of a Communications and Media Relations Executive:

  • Develop excellent working relationships with Senior Executives across all EMEA GCIB businesses.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of internal contacts and sources
  • Support EMEA GCIB with day to day media relations activities, handling press enquiries, setting up and managing interviews, arranging on-going relationship-building programs
  • Play an active role in advising EMEA GCIB business heads on on-going media strategy and where appropriate communication around crisis situations
