Description
My client is looking for an Information Security Architect - this role provides a focal point for Security Design & Architecture related activities interfacing with client and teams to provide:
Security design leadership and direction - Advice, Guidance and Definition of appropriate Security solutions for the IBM account which are aligned to the clients Security Requirements & Principles
- Awareness new Security technology, opportunities and threats which face the IBM & Client account
- Subject Matter expertise to projects and other major changes proposed for the account
- Security Architectural governance for projects delivered to the client
Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively maintaining an awareness of new Security technology and threats, to both the IBM account and client
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for the exploitation of new technologies for Security purposes and work collaboratively with client Security organisation to support the realization on the client account of appropriate improvements in the use of technology for Security.
- Act as an extended part of the Account Architecture team and provide appropriate governance for technical security aspects and implications
- Assist & provide SME support to IBM Service Delivery Security Team in the development and implementation of the client Account SD Process, ensuring interlock between design and delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of Full time work experience in information Security Architecture/Management
- Experience within a financial service/technology environment
- Good working knowledge of financial service industry regulations eg SOx PCI, Card Processing Scheme Compliance Irish & UK Financial Service requirements
- Information security management qualifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Security/Architecture qualifications (ie TOGAF, SABSA, CCP Information Architect)
