A senior Java software engineer with strong java experience and 10 years of software tools development knowledge is required to join an automotive entertainment Software company.
You will be helping developing tools used by DSP developers and customers at leading OEMs. Tools that's are developed include compilers, assemblers, software installers, and graphical programming systems. This position requires you to assist in documentation of those tools and development of training materials and involves occasional travel to customer sites world-wide.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working with other team members, to design and develop software including design sessions and code reviews
- You will collaborate with the entire development team for stand-ups, requirement gathering and project planning
- Provide support and maintenance of software and tooling
- Break requirements down into stories and tasks, along with work estimates
Candidates should have most or all of the following skills:
- Strong Java development experience
- Experience using the JUnit framework for unit testing
- Strong OO design and development skills
- Experience with SCRUM agile development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write engineering documentation of programs
- 10 years of software tools development experience
Desirable Skills:
- Eclipse RCP experience
- Experience of GEF Experience of OGSI and PDE framework
- C#, C++ and .NET
- Python, Ruby or JavaScript knowledge
- Familiarity with Code Collaborator
- Familiarity with XML and XSLT
- Java FX
- e4 platform and P2 installer
- Maven build system and Tycho
- JFrog Artifactory
- HTML-5 controls
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of 3 or more of the desirable skills
