We are looking for a web developer to customize a WordPress theme for us. At this stage, I’m looking for a cost proposal and timeline estimate.Below is a link to images that should explain most of it.

I see there’s a child theme in there. I imagine we’d want to go that route so if the parent theme is updated, the site doesn’t break, right? Also, right now the theme uses the “portfolio” post type to populate the home page as well as the content for the portfolio landing pages. That approach may or may not be doable because we want to show video and audio in the portfolio galleries. Right now the theme limits us to images only in the gallery space, though a single video can be shown at the top. So I don’t know if it would be easier just to build those portfolio landing pages manually or leverage the “portfolio” post type still and find a way to incorporate videos (all of which would be hosted with vimeo).
