Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced GIS/LLPG Applications Developer to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract however this may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and undertake systems analysis, development and implementation work as well as assess, develop, test and implement technical solutions.
The successful applicant will possess knowledge of BS7666 for both LLPG and LSG and can demonstrate experience of manipulation of dtf file structure in a standard database format as well as knowledge of data management, quality and version control. You will be able to troubleshoot and develop creative solutions to data issues and assist data custodians to migrate the LSG from dtf7.1 to dtf8.1, as well as knowledge of integration of the LLPG with the LSG and integrating to the corporate GIS systems. You will have experience of working with Confirm LSG, IDOX Uniform and I Symphony.
