SENIOR CONSULTANT ITO/ICT MANAGED SERVICE
Responsibility:
Your core role is to act as the subject matter expert for managed service business development and outsourcing engagement, relating to IT and ICT convergent operations and technology transformation
As such you will have a deep background as a senior IT practitioner with a Tier 1 CSP or well known vendor. You will have held a senior position such as Operations Director or MS Solution Sale Executive or similar senior level. You will be familiar with all aspects of the IT life cycle understand the Plan, Design, Development, Build/SI and Test life cycle through to Service Operations.
Skills and experience required:
Operations Director level or similar senior background IT practitioner from a Tier 1 Telecommunications provider or CSP, with a broad perspective of the industry and its challenges
Familiar with all aspects of the IT life cycle Understand the Plan, Design, and Development, Build/SI, Test life cycle through to Service Operations, knowledge of the CT area is a distinct advantage.
Experience in effective business planning and transformation and translating technology into business needs
Has extensive experience dealing with outsourcing from a client or vendor perspective
Has extensive knowledge of the IT industry and associated leading edge solutions and strategies that can be applied to opportunities at business unit, country or international levels.
Is able to plan and conducts complex and strategic negotiations between company, customers/prospects and other parties
Experience in ownership and management of multiple programs of work relating to business and Technology change
Acts as a mentor and knowledge base for less experienced team within company
Mandatory Qualifications:
Working Experience:
° At Least 15 years + experience in Tier 1 Telecommunications, CSP or major vendor
° At Least 5+ years experience in a senior management position
Outsourcing experience gained with a Telecommunications CSP.
Relevant experience in vendor community for example (IBM, HP, Accenture, Dimension Data, ATOS, TechMahindra, TCS, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Strategic planning and budgetary experience preferred
Significant experience in delivery and service operations at a senior management level
Evidence of relevant continued development in specialist areas
Knowledge latest technology trends and understanding of Cloud, NFV and SDN
Strong communication skills, strong sense of service, Outstanding presentation skills with technical and non-technical audience
Proven analytical, time-management, problem solving and consulting skills.
Strong relationship building skills and overall comprehension of sales cycle
Education Bachelor degree or above
English fluent, 2nd and 3rd languages an advantage
A strong network within the industry a distinct advantage
Able to undertake global travel requirements
