Description

UX Designer required for global E-commerce platform.

The successful candidate will be part of a team developing an internal content management system which allows publishing, editing, modifying, organizing, deleting and maintaining web based and Intranet based content from a central interface. We are looking for a designer to work developing a unified workflow in a system shared by hundreds of users across 53 global markets.

Key Responsibilities
Design productivity applications for use by highly skilled users.
Design and conduct user-centered research and evaluation of the existing system to understand product goals and identify weaknesses.
Identify the common user workflows resulting in a standardised user interface.
Develop conclusions and design recommendations based on research.
Work in close collaboration with program management and engineering to create a user experience vision for the system and to see the vision through to implementation.
Create conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications and final designs for the system.
Design a system that supports user efficiency & usability in content management, content discovery and content editing.
Understand and leverage established visual and interaction design standards, business requirements, market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings to make detailed design decisions that are user-centered.
Build and enforce a style guide for a web component based UI platform.

Essential skills
Experience designing for or developing user-facing web-hosted applications.
Effectively communicate with program managers and developers through implementation to articulate design rationale and realize design vision.
Transform design and design research processes, tools, and methodologies over successive releases to improve quality of user workflows.
Partner with peers in development to design solutions while understanding existing capabilities and relative value of engineering costs to business scenario value.
