Next Ventures USA is currently looking for a Cloud DevOps Lead to join one of our technology clients and help with their growing DevOps environment. Our client will be looking for someone on a contract basis who will work onsite but some remote work may be considered.
The role:
- Lead a technically skilled team to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as individually solving issues
- Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies as well as developing new solutions to address new challenges on an enterprise level within the Company's virtual environments
- Design and build technical/strategic pipelines to address upcoming business-level requirements
- Grow and improve the Company's Cloud environment and collaborate with various departments & stakeholders to design and implement new platforms for the Cloud
Key Requirements:
- Good understanding of DevOps culture and associated technologies
- Linux/Unix operating systems (Windows systems experience is also a bonus)
- Extensive knowledge in designing enterprise virtual server environments
- Docker, OpenStack and other Open Source Cloud technologies
- Previous experience with Puppet for automation (Chef or Ansible may be considered)
- Experience with PHP, Python, Ruby or other Scripting languages
- Hands on experience with VMware's Cloud enabled products
