You have a passion for designing and delivering innovative interactive solutions through collaboration with a cross functional team comprised of stakeholders, fellow UX/UI designers, engineers, and product owners.
At discovery stage, you will facilitate and participate in Agile UX activities e.g. user stories, personas to understand requirements and business goals from product team. You will conduct usability audits, competitive product analysis, and heuristics reviews. Research findings will be presented to stakeholders and team members to communicate user needs. You will create deliverables to communicate the UX Vision with your team members including user flows, personas to user journeys.
Your efforts will span the entire design cycle from initial UX concepts, to working closely with developers to ensure your designs are faithfully implemented. At Design phase, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to design the overall UX for a variety of screen sizes, including desktop and mobile.
You will plan, conduct and lead client sketching sessions, design studios and project meetings which will lead to producing low high fidelity sketches, or wireframes. You have strong design skills underpinned by strong knowledge of responsive and product design best practices.
You will develop prototypes (HTML or click-through screens/wireframes) to aid in design evaluation and testing. You are comfortable in taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs, in which you will translate findings into tangible designs. In additional, you will participate in UX team project deliverables such as annotated prototypes, site maps, interaction specifications and visual design.

JOB POSITION
This is a contract, full-time position. You will be working with a project team. As a team member, you will have also have the opportunity to:

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
User Experience Design
- Participate in Agile UX activities such as user story maps, personas, design studios, etc.
- Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate client’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
- Design and deliver user flows, wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups / HTMLs optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
- Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
- Develop and review designs with development to ensure their final look and feel is accurate and meets desired expectations of the end user experience
Usability
- Create usability deliverables e.g. screeners, testing plan, task lists etc
- Perform usability audits, recommend modifications for improvements, document results, measure and track progress on improvements as needed
- Perform metrics analysis to inform design/UX optimization efforts
Design & Technology
- Knowledge of design principles, industry best practices and standards
- Experience with responsive web design, Material Design and other interaction design trends
- Knowledge of best practices for mobile design.
Teamwork
- Discuss client needs and devise awesome solutions together with teams
- Keep team updated regularly on projects and service requests
- Reshuffle work quickly in event of changes to meet deadlines as a team
- Research and share with team new/existing UI patterns, UX design trends, technologies and solutions for clients
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver multiple, successful projects

REQUIRED SKILLS
Technical Skills
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator
- Knowledge in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Expert in various wireframing tools e.g Sketch App, inVision, Balsamiq, Flinto and other wireframing tools.
- Knowledge in coding HTML, CSS and jQuery is an added advantage
Professional Skills
- Good at presentation and communication
- Proficient writing skills to create annotation and documentation
- Proficient communication skills to dialogue with other teammates
- Good time management
- Must have good working attitude and eager to learn and innovate
