Platform Specialist (x6)
Pontoon Solutions are exclusively recruiting for 6x IVR Platform Specialists to work initial 6 month contracts based in Manchester for a large financial services organisation.
The SMEs will use their extensive knowledge and skills to develop technical solutions on the platform, providing guidance and direction. By working independently or collaboratively relative to size, significance, scope and scale, the SME or Platform Specialist will make recommendations and co-ordinate/oversee an efficient and effective delivery of software solutions to meet business goals.
Platform Specialist or SME will possess skills to develop and implement applications in core platform areas, these are IVR, Desktop and Middleware. Knowledge of telephony technologies would be desirable.
Role Description
Uses extensive understanding of Group standards (both technical standards such as code control, and industry compliance).Uses extensive knowledge to continuously improve and advocate best practices and knowledge sharing activities.Review platform deliverables in scope to support change within agreed timescale (this can apply to both project deliverables eg providing system description documentation and using the established change processes.Review cross-application documentation (including traceability) created by others.Uses extensive knowledge to support the assessment of requirements and their impact on supporting/downstream applications. Once assessed provide appropriate guidance and direction to define options and make recommendations.Uses extensive understanding of the Quality Assurance (testing) function and provides joined up approach to development and testing of solutions.Projects may require cross site working with other IT Teams and using the established offshore model and outsourcing partners.Develops solutions that align with the IT roadmap and established technical patterns.To perform own work in accordance with the values and behaviours and risk parameters of the GroupTechnical Skills
