Description
Our client needs an Enterprise Architect for a 6 month contract + possible extension to be based in Chicago.
The architect will be responsible to deliver the following:
- Provide technical leadership to the applications development team
- Design major aspect of the architecture of an application, including component such as user interface, Middleware and infrastructure
- Perform design and code reviews
- Ensure application design standards are maintained
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure architecture is aligned with business requirements
The suitable architect will need to have the following experience:
Overview
Five or more years in defining enterprise application architecture for mission critical application.
Excellent Object Oriented Analysis and architecture design
Good knowledge of cutting edge framework and technologies.
Written and spoken English
Expertise in the design, development and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture.
Experience with:
- UML
- BPMN
- Java
- Microsoft .Net
- Scrum/Agile methodology
- Enterprise Integration Pattern
Experience with tools such as:
- Eclipse IDE
- Confluence
- Jira
- Subversion
- JEE Container (JBoss)
- Web Container (Tomcat)
- JMS Broker (ActiveMQ, WMQ)
- JProbe
