For a longer term project at our client, an international Banking company in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedGerman speaking Software and Application Engineer - Tax Reporting (3499)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the integration of changed and new functionalities for a Tax application which will be used for Swiss withholding tax agreements with Austria and Great Britain and for the Austrian Onshore withholding tax.
The Job:
- Supervise the production support processes as well as being responsible for the incident-, change-, release-, and Problem management processes
- Analyze defect and write technical IT specifications and requirements for 3rd party software vendor
- Create GAP specification within existing documents
- Offer End user- and second level support
- Track 3rd party vendor on deliverables
- Develop database queries and ad-hoc reports
- Analyze customer business requirements and evaluate the results
- Analyze and specify technical requirements
- Work on the Parameterization and customization of the application OBS-Tax
- Contribute to change- and release management processes
- Run System test and roll out of new functionality
- Create Documentation
We are looking for candidates with:
- Programming experience with.Net 4.x, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
- Previous experience in maintaining 3rd party application
- Good understanding in Banking processes, preferably in financial instruments (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF, etc.) as well as transaction and withholding tax processes
- Solid technical knowledge in Linux and Windows
- University Degree in IT or similar graduation
- Fluent in English and German
