Role: C# Back End DeveloperDuration: 6 Months full time contract
Day Rate: £300pd
Location: Birmingham
Start date: Immediately
A large client of mine have an immediate requirement for an experienced C# Developer to join them on a 6 months contract. The role will be designing and implementing a scalable and efficient back end architecture using modern best practices.
Key Tasks:
- Working with cutting edge technologies and tools
- Contribute to the design and planning stages of many projects
- Working with a team of remarkable people and utilise your key skills while learning new skills
- Opportunity to build and design large scale applications.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of C# and the .NET framework
- Experience with the Microsoft technology stack (ASP.NET, MVC, WebApi etc).
- Experience with the agile development methodologies
- A good degree in a relevant area e.g. Computer Science, Computer Games, Maths, Science) Desirable Skills:
- Cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Rackspace, Heroku).
- RESTful services and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) - Database Technologies
- SQL, NoSQL
- Front End Technologies
- JavaScript, CSS - Parallelism
- Task Parallel Library (TPL), Task Asynchronous Pattern (TAP)
