Description
My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Software Development team based in Tring.The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of software for the control of X-ray inspection systems. This software shall provide customer solutions for a wide range of customer applications including industrial CT, metrology CT, non-destructive testing and semi-conductor inspection. Work upon the analysis, design and development for customer specific solutions will be required when necessary.
- Analysis of marketing requirements for X-ray inspection systems software to be developed
- Planning of the development of new software functions for the X-ray inspection systems
- Design and implement software to implement new functions for the control of the X-ray inspection systems that shall, at least, meet its marketing requirements
- Delivery of projects on time and within scope and budget
- Production of code that is well-designed, well-documented and maintainable
Minimum of 5 years' experience of developing software using these technologies preferably in an engineering environment:
- C#,
- C++
- Visual Studio
- Winform
Skill Requirement include:
- Degree in a mathematics, scientific or engineering discipline
- A Level physics or equivalent
- Experience in the use of subversion
- Image processing experience desirable
- Experience of multi-threaded software applications desirable
