SQL Developer - Portsmouth - £35,000Computer futures are working closely with a market leading company in the great location of Portsmouth.
Working as part of the new Business Intelligence team, you will be central to the success of various ongoing initiatives and projects such as the introduction of SQL Azure, large data migrations and the consolidation of the firms reporting estate.
The successful candidate will have solid SSRS,SSIS and T-SQL, a drive to deliver and excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Primary responsibilities and Activities will include but will not be limited to :
* Delivery of data cleansing and migration projects
* Ongoing maintenance of an SQL data warehouse
* Maintenance of SSIS packages
* Building relationships and working closely with the business to support their future needs
* Assist with the introduction of BI with in the firm
* Feed into the technology selection process
* Conversion of ageing reports to SSRS
Person Specification
* Strong T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS
* Experience of working on data cleansing / migration projects
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with professional staff in all areas of the business
* Good analytical / problem solving skills
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Flexibility and good planning and organisational skills
* Evidence of being a good team player
* Experience of business intelligence development studio
* Exposure to Azure
* Any experience with MS Dynamics CRM
