Senior iOS Developer in Mobile Banking

Key Responsibilities of the job
We are looking for a seasoned iOS developer who has hands on working experience in building apps on iOS with preferably some experience on Android and/or Windows phone using xcode and objective-C. The ideal candidate for this vacancy should have strong skills in Objective-C development with focus on performance and testing. Experience with Webservices (eg exchanging data with JSON) is a must. He or she must have clear understanding of the iOS App life cycle and strong Object Oriented programming skills. You are motivated and interested in web based technologies and a team player. You are communicative and can easily translate functional requirements into a technical implementation, and discuss your own technical requirements with your Front End, midtier (Java) and Back End (Mainframe) colleagues. You have attention for quality, maintainability, security, performance and testing.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Build objective-c code based on wire frames/Visual Design
Collaborate with Requirements and Design teams to build new features/enhance current features
Write unit tests
Package iOS Application
Enhance performance of the application
Skills and Experience
The Ideal candidate speaks fluently English. You have a business-ready mind-set.
Qualifications and Certifications
- At least Bachelor degree, preferably in Information Management
- Mandatory technical knowledge/experience:
o 3-5 years of relevant iOS development experience
o Clear understanding of Software development life cycle
o Have published 2 or more apps on App Store or iOS enterprise apps
o Experience working with 3rd party libraries
o Experience working with Graphics libraries
o In Depth understanding and implementation experience in Object Oriented programming in Objective C
o Basic knowledge on SWIFT
o Experience working with Offline data
o Basic understanding of Web Services and various data exchange formats. Experience on working in a layered architecture (Front End-Back End).
o Experience in working with certificates
o Strong hands on person with analytical skills and team player
o Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software development
- Preferred technology knowledge/experience:
o Android
o Winphone
o Java Spring
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical, communication skills and assertive/pro-active and motivated
- Teamplayer and teamleadership, but able to work independent
- Eager to learn new skills and able to keep up with the latest technologies
- Experience in working in an agile development environment
- Experience of working in a security conscious environment
- Previous Retail Banking experience is desirable, but not mandatory
