Collateral Manager - Derivatives Operations - London - 3 months initially - £550 £600 per day

Due to the increasing requirements to monitor and action cash movements and collateral movements within the FLI Derivatives Operations team, there is an urgent requirement for an experienced collateral manager to undertake a daily review of HSBC's collateral reports, to oversee the collateral team at HSBC, to instruct cash movements and to ensure that reconciliations are done between collateral reports, counterparty statements, custodian cash and security accounts and to deal with client, internal and auditor queries when those arise.
There is also a requirement to be involved in the project to integrate FLI collateral management into the AI systems. Then oversight of the HSBC collateral team will switch to the JPM collateral team. There is a requirement for the contractor to take on other derivatives related work as required. It is expected that initially the collateral work may take up a full day each day for a period until it is brought up to a high standard and then it would require part days to maintain that standard, so flexibility is required.
