Computer Futures are working with a client based in Milton Keynes, who are looking to take on Developers.You will be developing, supporting and maintaining the company`s (primarily web based) software applications as well as other online activities and initiatives. You will design and build solutions from conception to delivery.
You will add value to the department by suggesting development improvements and aiming to keep your own skills at the cutting edge of technology. You will work to appropriate standards and quality.
Responsibilities:
-To be actively involved with all stages of the software development lifecycle; from initial analysis & specification through to implementation, developer testing and support (bug fixing).
-Take ownership of a project from development side and work on it through the entire lifecycle.
-Provide technical support, patches and enhancements to existing solutions.
-Produce documentation for changes carried out to software.
-Work within all coding standards, design principles, and development and production processes.
-Provide inspiration and innovation of ideas within the team.
Previous Experience:
The role will suit a web developer who understands both front end and server side web development.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
-At least two years` commercial experience of using C# .NET and Visual Studio
-Web Services
-Web forms and/or MVC (preferably MVC 5)
- JQuery
- T-SQL
Desired Skills:
-Angular
-Experience working with a CMS framework (preferably Umbraco)
-Inversion of Control (IOC)
-Experience with HTML and CSS
-Development of custom Windows Services
