We are currently seeking a Uniface Developer for a customer in Machelen.
Function: Uniface developer
Locational: Machelen
Duration: Long Term Contract - starting with 6 months

Job description
Take charge in delivering quality changes on Dlls Uniface platform which consists of:
-uRouter - uniface web services
-Uniface Forms (Windows Based)
-Tibco iProcess workflow engine
-Uniface functions (AIX and Windows based)
-C-functions
-Sybase 15.7 database
DLL uses the Uniface applications to run the core contract management system (mission critical).
DLL is looking for an enthousiastic candidate who:
-Takes charge and ownership or assignments
-Is a self-starter: ie actively seeks functional and technical knowledge required to get the job done
-Is proactive: understand functional designs beyond what is written down, challenge the design and implement it with understanding of what is required in business functionality terms.
-Is Analytical:
o Able to create functional designs which can be implemented in the Uniface platform
o 3rd line support, bug fixing, problem solving
-Is a Team Player: Work with colleagues, seek peer reviews, bounce ideas around in informal settings, participate in weekly team meetings, daily stand-ups, contribute to the group, suggest improvements while understanding the team's goals and priorities.
Tasks
Mission-specific: Support a major Uniface migration (5.2 to 9.7)
Create functional designs when required
Create technical designs
Develop Uniface forms and functions
Understand and embed in Tibco iprocess workflow engine
Create unit test and system integration tests
Document your work
3d line technical support (back up)
Bug fixes
Mandatory Skills: Function requirements required
-Uniface 8.4 and up
-Transact-SQL = Excellent knowledge
-Versioning tools (DLL Belgium uses a customer code repository)
-Scripting (general, mostly AIX-based)
-ODBC
