Description
We have an immediate need for a French speaking SAP MM Consultant with experience in either Life Science, Pharma or Food & Beverage industries
Candidate should possess excellent functional knowledge and skills in SAP MM. Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of Purchasing and Procurement.

- The consultant should be able to design and configure MM based on purchasing and procurement business processes. Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyze, configure and model processes in SAP.
- The consultant should demonstrate a good grasp of knowledge and principles of Purchasing and Procurement. Should be strong in Procure to pay cycle covering the critical aspects of Purchasing, Inventory Management & Invoice Verification.
- Should have cross functional expertise and should be strong in integrating the system with other modules which includes SD, WM & FI.
- The candidate will have responsibility for data integrity consistent with SAP Material Management module (SAP MM)
- The candidate should have experience and knowledge of The Materials Management module (SAP MM) with primary focus on master data, system configuration, and transactions to complete the Procure to pay process.
- Provide production support for SAP MM and integration points with FI/CO, SD, QM, and PP modules.
- Support SAP interfaces to other business applications/systems
Work closely with business members of Procure to Pay business functions (Purchasing, R&D, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management) to facilitate effective solution implementations and provide knowledge transfer of system functionality to Super Users, Subject Matter Experts and end users
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Analyze business process gaps and identify solution alternatives and guidance to business and IT stakeholders for selecting the best solutions for closing the gaps.
- Work closely with ABAP developers to define programming requirements and test programming solutions.
- Modify, test and validate system configuration. Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Work closely with end users to prioritize and manage completion of support tickets.
- Should have worked and exposed to EDI Integration techniques along with Idoc monitoring process. Have a good knowledge of IDOCs and EDI standards, particularly in MM for both inbound and outbound communications.
- Expertise in Supplier on boarding process for various communication methods to the suppliers Ex. EDI, WebEDI, Emails etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with teams from various regions of the world to implement global solutions.
- Document and control all changes made to production systems via change control process.
- Should be an excellent team player.
